Accessibility statement

Bishulilim is committed to making this website and the in-person hospitality experience accessible to every guest, including people with disabilities, in line with the Israeli Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Law 5758-1998 and the Service Accessibility Regulations 5773-2013.

Last updated: April 2026

Accessibility standard

The site is built against the WCAG 2.1 AA guidelines — the international standard adopted by the Israeli regulations. We review accessibility on every release and ship fixes on an ongoing basis.

On-site adjustments widget

The floating icon in the corner of the screen opens a personal-adjustments menu that lets you: increase or decrease text size, switch on high contrast, underline every link, and pause animations. Settings are saved to your browser and reapplied automatically on later visits. You can reset them at any time.

Keyboard and screen-reader navigation

Every link, button, and form field on the site is fully reachable by keyboard alone (Tab, Shift+Tab, Enter and Space), labelled with clear ARIA semantics, and tested with the most common screen readers (NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver, TalkBack). A "Skip to main content" link appears at the top of each page when you press Tab.

Accessibility of the service itself

Our location at Nurit 16, Beit She'an is a private home, not a public building, and is therefore subject to service-accessibility adjustments rather than building accessibility. Contact us in advance for any specific need — we will arrange close-by parking, assist with an accessible route where possible, and adapt the hospitality experience to your needs.

Known limitations

Some images on the site rely on alt-text we authored ourselves, and we keep refining those descriptions. Embedded video from third parties (Facebook, YouTube) may not yet include captions or transcripts — we are adding them progressively.

Accessibility coordinator

Lili Twizer is the accessibility coordinator for Bishulilim. If you encountered an accessibility issue with the site or service, or you need a specific adjustment to be hosted, contact us at lilitwizer@gmail.com, on WhatsApp at +972 54-203-0341, or by phone. We aim to respond within 7 business days.

Feedback and suggestions

We welcome any accessibility feedback. If something didn't work for you, we would like to know. Accessibility is an ongoing process rather than a finishing line, and every piece of feedback helps us improve.
